Barceló Teguise Beach - Adults Only

Could not recommend this hotel enough! No sunbed wars, always sunbeds available throughout the day, amazing poolside entertainment with Antonia- a credit to the hotel. Games in the morning, followed by aqua gym and then a workshop (we did the wine and cheese tasting as well as other activities). This was also a great way to meet people. Cleaners did an amazing job, and restaurant and bar staff very attentive. The bar served proper spirits, no watered down drinks or cheap alcohol. Very reasonably priced alcohol too! The food in the restaurant was good, we ate there 5/7 nights and didn’t get bored. The main food area had similar foods, and then they had a sushi bar with Chinese food and then another bar which had a different special each night. Breakfast could be better if they added hash browns! Pool was very clean, and the gym had everything you need- all cardio machines, weight rack and some weight machines (cable and leg extension). The hotel is only a short walk to the square, where there are more bars and restaurants (although champs had good entertainment every night). The only thing I will say is the air conditioning broke in our room on night 3. I asked at reception 3 days in a row for somebody to look at it, or to get a fan. This didn’t get sorted until night 7 when I had to go to reception 3 times in one day. Massively affected sleep quality as the room was stuffy and hot. Also, if you have a late flight, book your courtesy room at the start of the holiday. We tried to book one the day before our flight and they did not have a room for us. Another couple had the same issue. Despite this, we will absolutely be returning and had an amazing time!
